Curry Cauliflower Steaks

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 whole cauliflower heads
  • 3 tablespoons Dad’s Own
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ tablespoon smoked paprika
  • ½ tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, thinly sliced

DIRECTIONS

  • Heat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk Dad’s Own, vegetable oil, paprika and curry powder until mixed.
  • Turn cauliflower heads upside down and cut off the florets on two sides of the stem (save the florets).
  • From the stem, slice the remaining cauliflower to make two ¾ inch -1 inch steaks from each head.
  • Place steaks on their side and brush with ½ of the sauce mixture. Flip steaks and brush with remaining sauce.
  • Place steaks in a single layer on their side and spray with oil. Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Carefully turn the steaks, spray with more oil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle green onions over each steak.
