Honey Glazed Carrots

INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds whole carrots
- ¼ cup Dad’s Own
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped scallions (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Fill a large pot with water and season with salt, place on high heat and bring to a boil.
- Peel carrots and cut in half lengthwise.
- Boil carrots for 3 minutes and blanche.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer for 3 minutes.
- Add carrots and cook for an additional 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove carrots and top with sesame seeds and scallions.
