- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- Provolone cheese
- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Rolls (12 rolls)
- 2 tbsp mayo from Primal Kitchen
- 1 garlic bulb
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
- 2 tsp of It's Official - Blow the Whistle Rub
DIRECTIONS
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Flat Grill:
Set your flat grill to medium-high heat. Drizzle with olive oil.
2. Preheat the Oven:
Set the oven to 350 degrees and cover the garlic bulb in olive oil; bake for ~25 min
3. Sauté the Veggies:
Cook the onions and peppers on the grill until soft and caramelized (5-7 minutes). Move them to the side.
4. Make Mayo Mixture:
Take baked garlic bulb out of the oven, remove the cloves, and mash them in a small ramekin. Add the mayo and mix.
5. Prep the Buns:
Slice the King’s Hawaiian Rolls in half.
Brush the bottom of the tops of the rolls with the mayo mixture. Put buns face down on the griddle. Cook for 3-4 min until golden brown.
6. PRO TIP : Pour on the Dad's Own!
Since our Colorado Cooking Sauce is olive oil based and full of flavor, drizzle about a half of a cup onto your hot flat grill.
7. Cook the Steak:
Place the steak on the grill and smother the meat with the Colorado Cooking Sauce, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Mix in the veggies.
8. Melt the Cheese:
Lay provolone slices over the steak and veggies. Let them melt before mixing everything together.
9. Assemble the Sliders:
Layer the steak mixture onto the bottom half, then place the top half back on.
